Indiana’s Chace Force and Ryan Bell both advanced at the WPIAL Section 1 golf qualifier held at Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon. Bell shot a 5 over par 76 and Force was 1 shot behind him with a 77. The cut line was 78.
2026 Sectional Qualifier (7 teams) (version 1)
It was Senior Night at the Indiana Country Club for the Indiana girls and they closed their season in style with a 30-shot win over Gateway. All five Indiana girls topped Gateway’s leading scorer. Ava McCombie led the way with a 54 to earn medalist honors. Angelina Donatello and Ransym Wheeling both shot 60 and Lyla Pangonis and Addison Porter each shot 62.
VOLLEYBALL
Northern Cambria dropped the first set but won the next three to down Central Cambria last night, 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22).
