Two Indiana County institutions will receive grant money from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
This is part of nearly $4 million awarded to museums and historical societies across 60 counties. To qualify, eligible museums must maintain an annual operating budget of over $100,000 excluding capital and in-kind contributions and employ at least one full-time professional or an approved equivalent.
The two entities in Indiana County that will receive funding include the Jimmy Stewart Museum, who will receive $6000 and the Historical and Genealogical Society of Indiana County, who will receive $9500.
