Indiana shut out Greensburg Salem 3-0 on goals by Callahan Fleming, Jonas Vick and Ian McGowan.
GOLF
The Homer-Center boys got by Northern Cambria by 13 strokes at Chetremon yesterday while the girls lost to NC by 28 strokes.
For the boys, Reece Coy, Jordy Arone, and Cole Sorber all shot 41, Noah Todd 43, and Aiden Darr and Elliot Drew both shot 48. Match medalist was the Colts’ Luke Blickenderfer, with a 39.
In the girls match, Northern Cambria’s Sarah Neff had the low score, a 52, with Emma Neff and Ava Paronish each a stroke back at 53, Sophia Sheredy at 56 and Elle Karheim shot 59. For Homer-Center, Julia Fabin shot 58, followed by Brianna Birchall with a 63 and Solen Cachet with a 65.
The Indiana boys knocked off Hempfield by ten strokes at the Indiana Country Club. Chace Force was the medalist with an even par 36. Ryan Bell shot 39 and Beau Raykes, Rudy Lipniskis and Logan Okopal all shot 42. Indiana is 10-4 overall, 3-4 in Section play.
The Indiana girls lost by 102 strokes to Fox Chapel. Indiana was led by Lyla Pangonis with a 63. Ava McCombie shot 68, Addison Porter 75, and Angelina Donatelli 80.
