A PennDOT public plans display about a project in the Shelocta area will start today on the district’s website.
The display will put the plans for the Shelocta Truss Preservation Project in Armstrong Township so people can see the project’s status, schedule, design and right-of-way acquisition. The project will preserve the existing structure that carries Route 56 over Crooked Creek, including painting the existing steel truss members and installing snow shield retrofits on the existing barriers. The project is expected to start next June and will wrap up next August.
The presentation will be available until through October 4th. You can access it at https://www.pa.gov/agencies/penndot/projects-near-you/district-10-projects and click on Shelocta Truss Preservation on the projects list.
