Sondra Gaye Shirley, 83, of Blairsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.
Born October 27, 1942, in Black Lick, PA, she was the daughter of Robert C. and Dorothy E. (Palmer) Shirley.
Sondra faithfully attended the former Free Methodist Church in Black Lick for many years.
Throughout her life, she worked in retail at various locations, where she came to know many people.
Sondra will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Shirley.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA, with Pastor Fred Craig officiating.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
