The State House will have a special session on September 9th.
In honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary, the state house of representatives will convene session at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. The hall once served as the meeting place of the United States Congress from 1790 to 1800. The building was the first capitol building of the colonial era and was where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were debated and adopted. The building is now an UNESCO world heritage site and is part of Independence National Historical Park.
The session will be live-streamed on the PA House Republican YouTube page on Wednesday at 5:45 PM.
