PennDOT is inviting the public to take part in a virtual plan display for a project in Shelocta.
The display will put the plans for the Shelocta Truss Preservation Project in Armstrong Township so people can see the project’s status, schedule, design and right-of-way acquisition. The project will preserve the existing structure that carries Route 56 over Crooked Creek, including painting the existing steel truss members and installing snow shield retrofits on the existing barriers. The project is expected to start next June and will wrap up next August.
The presentation will be available starting next Tuesday and run through October 4th. You can access it at https://www.pa.gov/agencies/penndot/projects-near-you/district-10-projects and click on Shelocta Truss Preservation on the projects list.
