Tonight is the annual kickoff event for the United Way of Indiana County’s 2026-27 fundraising campaign.
The party to start the “Compassion in Action” campaign will be held at the Challenger Learning Center and the Conservation District facility in Indiana near the ICTC campus. The event will bring together community members to help start the fundraising efforts and will also feature the reveal of this year’s fundraising goal.
Joe Fishel of the United Way talked about the importance of the kickoff event for the annual fundraising campaign.
There will be a basket raffle, a 50/50 drawing along with other hands-on activities related to both the conservation district and Challenger Learning Center. Food will be provided by Fedder’s Grill and 9th Street Deli, with Noble Stein and Disobedient Spirits providing beverages along with Honey Badger’s Baked Goods, Colton’s Cookies and The Baker’s Arms providing desserts.
