Nick Dombkowski retired the first twelve Erie batters and threw six no-hit innings as Altoona knocked off the SeaWolves, 6-1. His line for the night: six innings, no hits, no runs, no walks and six strikeouts. Erie broke up the no-hitter with a single off Jarod Bayless in the seventh.
The Curve scored a run in the first, three in the second, and another in the third before Will Taylor ended the scoring with a solo homer in the eighth. Easton Carmichael continued his hot streak, with two hits and three RBIs. Newly-promoted catcher Camden Janik made his Double-A debut and had two hits and Jesus Castillo also had two hits.
Connor Oliver starts for the Curve tonight.
