State police from the Punxsutawney Barracks have released more information on a crash that brought down power lines in North Mahoning Township last Thursday.
Troopers say on August 20th, a tractor trailer driven by 34-year-old Charles Bundy of Penfield was driving on Route 210 when he did not negotiate a left turn cleanly and the front end started to slide. Bundy tried to correct but was unable to regain control and the truck hit an REA utility pole, bringing down live utility wires.
Bundy was not injured but was charged with not driving on roads laned for traffic. Police were assisted by Plumville fire department on-scene.
