WESTMORELAND COUNTY PRISON BOARD FIRES WARDEN

Yesterday, the Westmoreland County Prison Board fired Warden Steven Pelesky and put his second-in-command Robert Fagan on paid administrative leave.  The Trib reports that the board cited ongoing employment issues for the leadership shakeup.  Pelesky was removed from duty in July pending a review of operations.  Fagan will also undergo an investigation, but that is not tied to any criminal allegations.  Deputy Warden of Operations Ben Carrillo will run the jail on an interim basis.
