Wednesday night, the Penns Manor School Board heard an update on a plan to bring outside cyber-school students back to the district.
Superintendent Daren Johnston told the board that so far, four students out of 30 that are attending an outside cyber-school have taken an offer of $1000 at the end of the school year to return to either in-person or online education within the district. Johnston said that this is going to save the district a lot of money they would be responsible for if the students remained outside the district.
He added that there are about 14 days left for families to take that opportunity.
