Once again, rain forced a change of plans at Steelers Training camp. Wet conditions forced the team to move practice indoors to the Dunlap Center, and fans packed up and left before the rain started. No practice is slated for today at Saint Vincent as the team gets ready for tomorrow night’s pre-season opener against the Green Bay Packers. After that, there are only three more practices scheduled for Saint Vincent: Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The Steelers were shorthanded for Tuesday’s training camp session. Pittsburgh was without wide receivers DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. for the second straight practice. Wideout Germie Bernard and quarterback Aaron Rodgers were also absent.
