A proposal for a massive data center in Upper Macungie Township is dead.
Air Products confirmed Tuesday that it will not file an appeal after the township zoning board voted to reject the plan for a two-point-six-million-square-foot data center complex at the site of its former headquarters on Cetronia Road. The proposal was fiercely opposed by many Upper Macungie residents.
Air Products said it has a long history in the Lehigh Valley and remains committed to maintaining positive relationships in the communities where it operates.
