Three men are facing charges for allegedly killing a dog to “send a message” in South Huntingdon Township.
Connor Repovz, Brian Johnston and Joe Maione Junior are facing counts including aggravated cruelty to animals. State police say the suspects took the dog from the owner’s home in South Huntingdon Township in September of 2024 in order to “settle a score” over rape allegations made against another man, Nathaniel Johnston.
They then beat and strangled the pet before throwing it in a pool to drown, according to investigators.
