A 77-year-old Punxsutawney man is no longer facing an open lewdness charge after prosecutors withdrew that count during a preliminary hearing last week.
Jesus Jasso was accused of performing a lewd act inside a vehicle at the Punxsy Plaza parking lot in June. While the lewdness charge was dismissed, related disorderly conduct charges remain active and have been forwarded to Jefferson County Court.
Jasso remains free on $5,000 unsecured bail.
