Indiana County 911 reported the 31st brushfire of the year yesterday.
The call came in just before 5 p.m. for a location on Route 259 in Brush Valley Township. Brush Valley and Cherryhill Township fire departments were sent at the time. They would be joined by Armagh and Pine Township crews just minutes later.
No details on the incident have been released.
Other calls included one for a gas leak on Leech Road in Conemaugh Township, and one for a smoke investigation on Jefferson Street in Clymer.
