Janet Louise (Bracken) King Evans Stoner, 89, of Clymer, PA and formerly of Ridge Crest, CA, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Donald L. Bracken and Jessie M. (Middleton) Bracken Wahlenmaier, she was born on March 25, 1928 in Philipsburg, PA.
Janet attended Penn Run Elementary and was a graduate of Indiana High School.
She was a housewife, who during her working career had been employed at a school cafeteria and as a clerk with Kmart.
Janet was a member of an American Legion Auxiliary in CA. Two of her favorite pastimes were completing crossword puzzles and watching TV Westerns.
She is survived by her three sons: Gary (Cindy) King of Silver Springs, NV; Mark (Barbara) Evans of Ridge Crest, CA and Todd (Pam) Evans of Inyoukern, CA; her two grandchildren: Aimee (Aldolfo) Velasquez and Janet King and her two great grandchildren: Aldolfo Velasquez, Jr. and Breanna King.
Also surviving are her brother, Charles Bracken of Boston, MA; sister, Donna McCutcheon of Indiana, PA and brother, John “Jack” (Carol) Bracken of Clymer, PA.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her three husbands: Eugene King; Dennis Evans and Donald Stoner; her brother, William (Mary Jane) Bracken and her beloved aunt Geraldine Wilkins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
Arrangements are with the assistance of the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA.
