Tonight is the second public meeting in Blairsville Borough to talk about traffic problems related to large trucks rolling through the area.
Last month, Blairsville Mayor Michael Walstrom held the session to address some of the complaints citizens had with increased quarry truck traffic in town, with issues ranging from excess dust from the trucks to noise pollution to speeding and running red lights. Walstrom said that the borough has seen a dramatic increase in traffic and while last month people did voice complaints, he was proud of how the public conducted itself.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at the Blairsville Presbyterian Church Social Hall on North Walnut Street at 6:00 PM.
