The Altoona Curve are back home to open a six-game series against Chesapeake tonight, with left-hander Connor Oliver taking the mound.
The Curve have started the second half of the season 11-16, in fifth place of the six teams in the Eastern League Southwest Division while the Baysox are 15-11 and in second place. Altoona is 7-5 against Chesapeake this season, including a 4-2 homestand in June.
After starting his season 4-0 with a 2.27 ERA at High-A Greensboro, Oliver is 2-2 with a 4.59 ERA since his promotion to the Curve.
