Howard A. Johnson, 84 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.
He was born April 24, 1942 in Blairsville, PA, the son of the late Julian Johnson and Luella (Newhouse) Johnson.
Howard attended the Blairsville First United Methodist Church. He was a former Blairsville Borough employee for many years.
Howard is survived by his sister, Carol Lutz, Blairsville, PA; sister, Helen Rhodes, Blairsville, PA; sister-in-law, Georganne Johnson, Indiana, PA and also many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: George Johnson, twin brothers, Raymond & Ronald Johnson and David Johnson; sister, Sara Johnson, sister, Alice Starry and niece, Michelle Johnson.
In keeping with Howard’s wishes, all services will be private. Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, Blairsville, PA.
