The Arizona Cardinals have signed quarterback Carson Beck, their third-round draft pick, and his four-year, $7.4 million deal could help set the market for the Steelers’ unsigned third-round quarterback Drew Allar.
Beck was the third QB taken in the draft, at number 65 overall, nine picks ahead of Allar, who was taken with the 74th selection.
Two other quarterbacks, top overall pick Fernando Mendoza of the Raiders, and fellow first rounder Ty Simpson of the Rams are also unsigned.
Steelers training camp begins with the players reporting to Saint Vincent on Tuesday and the first workout on Wednesday.
