Indiana County officials are now going through the comments made about concerns on potential AI Data Centers and the Homer City Generation project.
Over the last month, the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development website has hosted a forum for people to post their comments about the projects. Executive Director Byron Stauffer said they received more than 240 comments. He says that those comments are undergoing a thorough review before they consider any modifications to the county’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, also known as the SALDO.
Stauffer said that after the comments are inspected, they want to hold a public hearing on the matter sometime in October. He said that they are also being very thorough with the issue and working diligently to expedite the process.
