State police have released details on a crash that happened July 10th in Conemaugh Township.
Troopers were sent out at 4:00 PM to McConnel Road just north of Lewisville Road for the one-vehicle crash. Police said 68-year-old Stanley Doviat Jr. of Clarksburg was going north on McConnel and turned too early to turn into a driveway. The truck hit a tree nearly head-on. The truck was disabled and he was unable to get out of the truck due to his old age. He was taken to IRMC for medical evaluation by Murrysville Medic One. Tunnelton Fire Department, Murrysville EMS assisted on the scene.
