MARION CENTER SCHOOL BOARD TO HOLD WORK SESSION TONIGHT

The Marion Center School Board will hold a work session tonight.

Up for discussion will be the resignation of assistant High School Principal Scott Peterson after 18th years of service.  Discussion will also be held on the hiring of someone to take his place.

The board will also discuss how they will fill a vacancy on the board in Region I to complete the current term.

The work session starts tonight at 7:00 in the McCreery Large Group Instruction room.  Marion Center is the only school board scheduled to meet this week.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
