The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado touched down in Westmoreland County during severe storms on Saturday.
Experts say the twister impacted an area northeast of Latrobe, near Stewart and Pandora roads. Video footage shows a funnel briefly making ground contact, according to officials.
NWS will have a survey team out in the area this week.
