PAWC RATE INCREASES APPROVED BY PUC

Pennsylvania American Water Company customers are about to see higher bills.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has approved the Water Company’s request for a rate increase.  PAWC says residential customers who pay for both water and sewage services will see their bill go up by about 20-dollars per month.  The new rates will go into effect on August 13th.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
