A family in North Huntingdon is warning others about a hole they found under their garage.
The homeowner says it all started when they kept having to repair cracks in the garage floor and a contractor decided to take a sledge hammer to the concrete. The hammer broke all the way through the ground, unveiling a nine-foot void underneath the garage and showed the flooring was only being held by rebar and a single support column. The family says they reached out to builder Ryan Homes who says they are willing to work with them to make repairs.
The family is warning that other Ryan Homes builds may have a similar situation in their garages.
