As thunderstorms are expected to hit the area once again, the National Weather Service has scheduled a flood watch to start at 10:00 this morning and run for 12 hours for Indiana, Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties.
Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall from the showers and thunderstorms today could result in the flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying flood-prone areas, especially in areas still saturated from the rainfall last weekend.
