Gas prices continue to drop across the country and the state.
Triple A reports that the national gas price average is now $3.79 a gallon, down 40 cents from last month and 77 cents lower than the high point of the year at $4.56 on May 21st. Pennsylvania’s average this morning remains just below the $4 per gallon mark at $3.97. That’s 38 cents lower than last month.
Indiana County’s average is $4.08 a gallon. Gas prices in Indiana Borough and White Township are around $4.09 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. The gas price war along Route 119 in Homer City continues with Sheetz at $4.09 and $3.89 at Kwik Fill and Accent Fuels.
