One person suffered minor injuries after being hit by a garbage truck in Homer City Borough Monday morning.
Homer City fire crews responded to a call for a vehicle accident at 11:53 a.m. on Ridge Avenue, near the intersection of State Routes 119 and 56. Fire officials said that the unidentified victim was crossing the intersection when they were struck by the garbage truck. EMT’s arrived to assess the victim, but determined they suffered no major injuries. That person was able to be released.
