A longtime Indiana County car dealer this week announced his retirement.
Larry Wood of Wood Chevrolet in Plumville is stepping back as the dealership is closing after 72 years of business. Wood remembers how he got started in the business.
He said he will miss interacting with customers.
He says Griffith Auto Sales of Home will take over the operations on Monday, as they have purchased the facility, but he will remain with them for a while. That includes keeping the same work crew for vehicle repairs.
