On Tuesday, Altoona led Portland 9-0 and won 12-8. Yesterday, the Curve had a 5-0 lead in the first inning and ended up losing, 7-6.
Titus Dumitru homered to lead the attack in the first inning, but the Sea Dogs scored a run in the first, three in the second, and three more in the third, but the Curve could only scratch out one more run over the final eight innings, on a sac fly. Callan Moss had three hits and Matt King, Dumitru, and Jesus Castillo each had two for Altoona.
