It’s a very limited school board schedule this week across Indiana County.
River Valley’s school board stalled out on its attempt to pass a budget last week and will take another stab at it Monday night in a special meeting. Directors will be voting on a $37.2 million budget that includes a two percent real estate tax increase. River Valley will also hold a committee meeting on Wednesday.
The Penns Manor board will also hold a committee meeting on Wednesday.
With some school boards taking the month of July off, the next meeting for many of them will not be until August.
