PennDOT projects of note this week include the pipe replacement on Girty Road near Elderton, scheduled to get underway tomorrow and last through Tuesday, July 7th. Girty Road will be closed daily from 7 AM to 2:30 PM for the installation of a new cross-pipe.
The paving project on Route 954 between Plumville and Rummel Road in West Mahoning Township goes on. It got underway last week and crews will continue with drainage work, cross-pipe replacement, milling and paving, with lane restrictions controlled by flaggers.
The nearby paving work on Route 85 from the Indiana County line to Line Street in Rural Valley is also ongoing. Again, flaggers will control the flow of traffic.
And next Tuesday and Wednesday, July 7th and 8th, the railroad crossing on Five Points Road in Armstrong Township will be repaved, with flaggers on hand between 7 AM and 6 PM each day.
