The Indiana Area School Board will meet on Monday night, with adoption of a $69.7 million budget on the agenda along with many other items related to the start of a new school year. Among those items are a new two-year labor agreement with AFSCME Council 83, and a new three-year agreement with the district’s confidential employees. Insurance coverage and coaches’ salaries for the fall sports are also up for approval.
Marion Center’s school board is also scheduled to adopt a final budget tomorrow night. The fiscal plan is for $31.26 million. The board will also vote on capital expenditures for a variety of projects totaling around $200,000. Other agenda items include combining a learning support teacher’s duties with the position of cyber coordinator, the Cyber Charter Student Return Incentive Program, the AFSCME labor agreement, and approval of the fall coaches and their compensation.
River Valley’s school board will meet on Tuesday.
