Burrell Township’s Parks and Recreation department will hold its 4th annual Fun in the Park event at Saylor Park in Blacklick today.
The theme will be the celebration of America’s semiquincentennial. One event that’s being brought back as part of the schedule is the garden tractor pull, which starts at 10:00 with registration, the exhibition at 11 and the pulls at noon. Don Hebenthal talked about how the pull will benefit a good cause.
Kids pedal tractor pulls will be held at 1:00. Music and Karaoke are also on the schedule. Tonight at 7:00 is a performance from Tommy’s Music Rewind, and at dark, there will be fireworks. There will also be food and craft vendors, basket raffles, and an appearance from famed video game character Super Mario.
Andy Hart from Cat Country 106.3 FM will broadcast today from the park from 1-3 this afternoon.
