State police say a heavy-duty pickup was responsible for pulling lines down in Canoe Township on Tuesday.
Troopers were sent to a property near the intersection of Smyerstown Road and Lunger Drive. It was determined that the truck was going south and for an unknown reason, a cable or power company line was sagging very low. The wire hit the top of the truck, causing some damage, but the result of that was the truck pulling a utility pole down. Crews from Penelec had to go out and make repairs.
No injuries were reported.
