ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Steelers have signed linebacker Jacoby Windmon. He was on the Steelers’ practice squad last October and was released after twenty days. He was also briefly with them in 2024 before he was signed by Carolina, for whom he played nine games in two seasons. Windmon just concluded a stint with the UFL’s Columbus Aviators, whose season ended on May 31st.

The agent for Brendan Sorsby tells ESPN’s Pete Thamel that the controversial quarterback has tentatively scheduled a pro day for NFL teams on July 10th at a high school in Southlake, Texas. Thamel says agent Ron Slavin expects all thirty-two teams to have representatives there for the workout.
The 22-year-old Sorsby has officially filed for the NFL supplemental draft after dropping his attempt to play for Texas Tech this season. He admitted he’s bet at least $90,000 on sports, including on his own team, while in college.
