Sentencing hearings are scheduled today for Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas, including one for a man charged in connection with a drug investigation from 2022.
Court documents show 44-year-old Joshua James Stumpf of Indiana pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver on January 5th of 2024. Indiana County Drug Task Force members were sent out on May 24th of 2022 to a home in the 200 block of Philadelphia Street and found 22 bricks of suspected heroin/fentanyl along with items to package and sell the drugs, $4000, a shotgun barrel and cell phones that were used in coordinating the drug sales.
On January 21st of this year, co-conspirator Charles Wilcox of Northern Cambria, was ordered to serve two to five years in state prison for his guilty plea to the same crime.
Also due for sentencing today is 44-year-old Theresa Dorothy Dimmack of Avella in Washington County. She pleaded guilty to charges of corruption of minors and criminal trespass for an incident on June 6th of 2024.
