ARMSTRONG COUNTY PAVING PROJECT BEGINS ON MONDAY

The paving of a six-mile stretch of Route 85 from the Indiana County line to Line Street in Rural Valley begins tomorrow.  Workers will begin by milling the old asphalt away, with paving, shoulder work, and guiderail updates to follow.  There will be lane restrictions controlled by flaggers for the work, which will be done in the daylight and is part of an $8.1 million multi-project schedule awarded to Derry Construction Company.
