Dearine Ann Perks, 75, formerly of Homer City, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Kittanning Health and Rehab Memory Care Unit. Born June 28, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Kay) Perks.
Dearine was a 1969 graduate of Philipsburg High School and of the Methodist faith. She worked at various jobs throughout her life and retired in 2015 from her custodial position at Juniata College.
Dearine is survived by her four children, Michael Thomas Grundusky of Huntingdon; Laura Bennett and husband, Dennis of Brush Valley; Bobbi Jo Baker and her husband, Jeremy of Huntingdon; and Tommie Woods of Huntingdon; her two brothers, Albert F. Perks, Jr of Bigler and Robert T. Perks of Osceola Mills, and her two sisters, Mary Ann Miller of Morrisdale and Linda Brown of Bigler; her ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dearine was preceded in death by her two sisters, Tracy Dush and Eloise Miller.
The family will receive friends from Monday 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 5pm at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
