Charges are being filed against an Allegheny Township man who police say left two young children in a hot car while he went into a business for a massage.
According to the report, Jerry Rempuszewski left the children — a five-year-old and a six-month-old — in a car with the engine off and the windows down just about three inches for close to 40 minutes. Springdale Police say the heat index was 87 degrees at the time they found the kids and got them out of the vehicle.
Rempuszewski faces charges including endangering the welfare of children.
