Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors heard more comments concerning the junk vehicle ordinance.
Supervisors received an updated draft of that ordinance at their last meeting on May 27th. Residents are still citing concerns about the language used in the ordinance. They say that while the idea of property inspections has been removed, other parts of the new draft open up more opportunities for possible inspections.
This most recent draft is still under review by the township solicitor.
The supervisors also approved the transfer of a liquor license. That license is currently being held by PBJ’s LLC in Rayne Township, with the request being from Indian Springs Estates to move it to 824 Indian Springs Road, the former site of the VFW golf course.
Manager of Indian Springs Estates Girard Tibbott was on hand to field questions from the public and said that there are no firm plans for the property right now, but they have a lot of ideas.
He said that more information will be coming in the next few weeks.
