Edwin Francis Augustine, 72, of Ebensburg died June 4, 2026 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born November 2nd, 1953 in Phoenixville, PA. He was the son of the late James and Lulu (Foor) (Augustine) Gaut of Pottstown, PA.
Edwin is survived by his wife Patricia (Thompson) Augustine of Ebensburg, PA, whom he married June 12, 1976. Also survived by children Jason Augustine, of Ebensburg, Leann Blair, of Nanty Glo, and David (Sheena) Augustine, of Homer City. Edwin will be missed by his grandchildren: Logan Blair, Jullian Blair, Addison Shuler; step children Eli and Caleb Normand; and sister Dori (Augustine) Mendoza (Robert) of CA.
In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas (Tim) Augustine.
Edwin was a graduate of Presbyterian Pan American High School in Kingsville, TX. Edwin was a sewage treatment plant operator for several years in Royersford and Nanty Glo, PA before returning to the printing industry. Edwin enjoyed working in printing, working at various companies for more than 30 years. He retired from Creps in Indiana, PA in January 2025.
Edwin liked spending time with his grandchildren, fishing when he had a chance, and listening to his favorite music.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
