The Pennsylvania Department of Education is announcing four-point-three-million dollars in grants for schools offering career and technical education programs.
The funds come through the Competitive Equipment Grants program and meant to help cover the cost of updating or purchasing equipment used in the training of students.
In Western Pennsylvania, grant recipients include Beaver County CTC, Butler County AVTS, the Connellsville Area Career & Technical Center, Eastern Westmoreland CTC, the Fayette County Career & Technical Institute and the Indiana County Technology Center.
