Multiple fire companies were sent to a reported structure fire Monday evening.
Indiana County 911 reports that the call went out at 7:01 PM for the reported fire on Maple Avenue Extension in Burrell Township. Blacklick, Blairsville, Clyde and Coral Graceton fire companies were initially sent out along with Citizen’s Ambulance and the County EMA team. Black Lick fire officials say that they quickly cancelled the other departments as there was no fire. It turned out to be a gas line that came off the back of the stove.
On top of that, there were two calls for utility lines down reported yesterday. One was at 11:57 AM on River Road in Buffington Township that brought the Vintondale fire department. The other sent the Pine Fire Department to Tipperary Road in Pine Township at 7:34 PM.
