A suspect in a drug investigation from 2022 will be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
Court documents show 64-year-old Charles Wilcox of Northern Cambria pleaded guilty in January of this year to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in connection with an investigation that started in May of 2022. Indiana County Drug Task Force members raided a home in the 200 block of Philadelphia Street and found 22 bricks of suspected heroin/fentanyl, along with items to package and sell the drugs, inside a wall clock that had a false face on it.
In addition to the drugs and paraphernalia, the search discovered $4,000, a shotgun barrel and cell phones that were used to coordinate the drug sales.
A co-conspirator, Joshua Stumpf of Indiana, pleaded guilty to the same charge and is awaiting a sentencing hearing on June 16th.
