Crews are getting ready to launch a large-scale renovation project at Hempfield Area High School next week.
Students are graduating today, hours before work gets underway on the roughly 120-million-dollar build. The project will be done in three phases, with an estimated completion date of June, 2029.
The first phase includes a two-story addition and updates to the swimming pool and auditorium.
