WEST SHAMOKIN SOFTBALL SEASON ENDS WITH LOSS IN D-6 FINALS

The West Shamokin Wolves softball season came to an end in the PIAA District 6 finals with a 2-0 loss to Bellwood-Antis.

In PIAA single-A softball action, Purchase Line now knows who they will face in the opening round of the playoffs.  As the third-seed out of District 6, they will play WPIAL champion Union.  Site of the game has yet to be announced.

All PIAA Playoff action for baseball and softball starts Monday.
